Yoga Therapy

Over the last 20 years I have immersed into the different paths of Hatha Yoga, Bhakti Yoga, Ashtanga Yoga and Yoga for Kids with a common intention; to cultivate a "condition in which the senses are held still and the mind becomes undistracted"(Katha Upanishad, chapter 6) to develop a quiet relationship with my practice. Naturally, â€‹yoga has become a way of life and I am grateful to receive the support of my family to offer my observations to the service of others.

I have altered my personal practice from intense ashtanga to restorative yoga addressing my own respiratory condition and have been largely influenced by Gary Kraftsow in the transmission of yoga for health, healing and personal transformation.

Through the practice of yoga therapy my intention is to create space for the participant to receive a holistic and complementary treatment and become aware of what is the current emphasis of one's intuitive management of their health; be it asana to access the body anatomically, yogic breathing to turn one's attention to the physiological systems of the body, or yogic philosophy for bringing awareness to one's emotional state of mind. My goal is to establish a relationship where together we can recognise triggers and habitual patterns, so you can embody and radiate health and wellbeing.
